Forever Orange, Always Blue – Family Weekend

Lowe Fam

This past weekend my wonderful parents made the trip up to Gainesville for New Student and Family Program’s family weekend. The weekend was dedicated to spending time with each other on a campus we love.

Our weekend consisted of a belated-birthday dinner to Harry’s, breakfast with some of our favorite Campus Diplomats and shopping at the Oaks Mall. On Saturday we also ended up at the College Game day show for the UF vs. Kentucky basketball game. And although we weren’t in the O’Dome cheering the Gators on – we did get to be at an awesome viewing party in Touchdown Terrace.

We ended the weekend with a Legacy Pinning for UF alumni and their students. The concept around the pinning is that as a legacy, we’re carrying on the traditions of the ones before us. With having both our parents attend UF, Kev and I will always hold a special place in our hearts for this great university. And now that we’re both here – the legacy continues.
