Happy Holidays!

Not really sure what’s happening with the hand…

With the 2015 year coming to an end, I had to pay tribute to the Holiday Season. If I had to rank my favorite times of the year, Christmas would be a top contender (my love of Fall being number one). When I was younger, I loved the thought of being on the nice list and a visit from Santa.  The entire month of December would be filled with promises of good tidings, Christmas carols and lots of baking time with Gammy.

As I’ve gotten older, it seems that some things haven’t really changed. I still feel giddy with anticipation for Christmas morning. I have Christmas music playing nonstop. And Gammy’s house is filled with the smell of fresh, baked goods.

However, it’s the time with my family that I truly cherish during the holiday season; singing off-key to carols and making my mom laugh, hearing stories from my Gammy as we bake, and gift shopping last minute with my dad. And of course, being sneaky with Kevin as we try to find the perfect gifts. These are the moments that I look forward to all year long.

I’d write a list of what I’m thankful for this holiday season, but I’d rather show you instead.
