I absolutely love chambray, and the flexibility of the outfits you can create. Although this is turning into a chambray Summer, I might as well say year because it’s one of those timeless fabrics that I’ve been wearing since January.
I found this shirt the other day at Altar’d State and immediately fell in love. The lace details and flaired bottom adds a feminine twist to the design. On the back of the shirt it buttons down half way and curtains out – leaving the lower back visible.
I paired it with my J.Crew shorts that I found a couple of summers ago. Naturally as a Gator gal I had to pair the two together. Plus orange and blue looks great on everyone, right?!
I finished off the look with a vintage Dooney & Bourke. This was the first purse my mother gave to me about 15 years ago. I was so happy to find it sitting in my closet just waiting to be worn again! I also found the watch at Francesca’s and just couldn’t pass it up.
