Valentine’s Day is probably one of my favorite holidays to celebrate. It comes right after my birthday so I always feel like it’s another excuse to treat myself. The holiday also has all of my favorite things: hearts, pink, red, more hearts, friendship, oh and love (duh). I wanted to share some quick DIY craft ideas in case you’re in a rush to send out gifts to your favorite people.
Handmade Cards
A handmade card is such a simple touch that really goes a long way. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy – you can use what you have around your house or make a quick trip to the craft store. I love to decorate blank cards with stickers, handwritten notes and scrapbook embellishments. As a thrifty shopper (I get it from my mama), I always look for the $1 bin or sale items. Next time you see a stack of blank cards for sale, pick those up! You never know when they’ll come in handy.

Let Love Grow Gifts
Tired of giving the tried and true gifts of chocolate and jewelry? Looking for an inexpensive gift idea? Check out these “Let Love Grow” flower pots with seeds!
Literally costs 50 cents each to make. Head to your local Dollar Store and buy the clay pots (4 for a $1) and the seeds (also 4 for a $1). The easiest and sweetest gift that welcomes in the Spring season!
S’mores Mix
Okay, so Valentine’s Day would not be complete without a sweet snack. This Valentine’s S’mores mix is so easy + tasty – you’ll have a hard time finding an easier thing to make!
I found the recipe on this site and added in some pretzel pieces for a salty twist. Add in as much or as little of the ingredients as you’d like. You really can’t go wrong!

I hope these quick, DIY ideas make your gift giving a breeze! May your Valentine’s Day be filled with lots of love + chocolate.
Love,
Rach
