Orlando Adventures + Liquid Gold

I’ve mentioned before about how Orlando has become a destination for a quick, Lowe Family weekend away. It’s the perfect location for our family to come together and explore without traveling forever to see each other.

This past weekend was spent relaxing at Disney Springs where we checked out their shopping options and restaurants. It can be a little overwhelming to try and decide what all to do, so we usually try to plan beforehand.

I say usually because that didn’t really happen this weekend. We just went with the flow, which meant a lot of indecisiveness and off-road exploring. Not that I’m complaining – I was just happy to spend time together.

My favorite part of the weekend was the food (duh.) I like Raglan Road for their Irish step-dancing entertainment and their traditional, Irish food. It’s a fun environment to sit-down and just watch the performers while eating a delicious meal.

I couldn’t resist popping into The Ganachery  shop either. I mean an entire store dedicated to chocolate?!

And how about the Coca-Cola store. Three levels of Coke products, rich history and a rooftop bar.

For someone who loves cupcakes, I’ve been dying to try Sprinkles. I also couldn’t pass up the opportunity to checkout their cupcake ATM. Isn’t that just the cutest thing you’ve ever seen?

We rounded up the weekend with a quick pit-stop at The Orange Shop in Citra, Florida. I mean, how could we pass up the opportunity to drink some liquid gold? I’ve talked about my love for Florida citrus before. There’s just something about driving on some back roads with a bottle of OJ and the windows down.

We’re always looking for new things to explore in Orlando. If you have a favorite place you visit, I’d love to hear about it!
