I know, I know. By now you’re probably groaning about another fall blog. But goodness, I just can’t keep this gem to myself. Since moving to Gainesville, I’ve added another fall tradition to the list! That’s right, I can’t pass up the chance to talk about the Micanopy Fall Festival.
This year my friends Montana + Christian came along to celebrate! Last year Kev, Montana and I went to the festival so we were excited for Christian to experience it as well.
I think my favorite part is seeing the vendors’ pride for their homemade goods. From wood work to clothing to holiday decorations and food, there’s plenty for everyone.
The festival is for all ages with plenty to see and hear. And the live band is the best entertainment! We ended the trip with some homemade ice cream – clearly a hardship!
There’s so much to take in at the festival, so I sometimes often get distracted. But thankfully Kevin takes shots of the little details to remember on later. Check some out below:
If you’re near Micanopy, Fla., the festival lasts all weekend through Sunday, October 29 from 9am – 4pm. The festival is located right off of Highway 441 – park anywhere along the road + join in on the fun!
