Jan·u·ar·y // For me, this word carries a lot of what I love about the new year. It’s a promise for new beginnings, exciting adventures and a fresh start. And this month certainly doesn’t disappoint.
There’s a few things I’m looking forward to this month that I just couldn’t help but share.
First off, it’s all about the upcoming birthdays. My mom and I both have January birthdays – her’s is today!
For us January babies, it’s no secret that garnets are our favorite gems (besides diamonds). This Grape Garnet is only found in one place – eastern India.
Also how adorable is this wine bottle from Kevin? Such a sweet gift from Personal Wine – perfect for any occasion.
I heard a rumor that we’ll be taking a trip to Orlando for the celebrations. The last time we were in Orlando for my birthday was back when I turned 21. It was seriously the. best. birthday. We danced on tables (hello Taverna Opa), sang along with Howl at the Moon and partied at Señor Frog’s. Talk about some throwback photos!
There’s also an upcoming wedding that I cannot wait to celebrate. So so excited for one of my oldest friends, Riah, who is getting married at the end of the month! When we were younger, we’d play MASH and plan out our futures. I’m so happy to see that the things we wished for as teenagers are coming true!
It feels like the new wedding season is upon us. I mean who doesn’t love celebrating wedded bliss, eating cake + dancing until you drop?!
I guess you can say that this January is gonna be one for the books! Follow along for the adventure. I have a feeling it’s going to be the best start to the new year.
