My sweet, fierce and sassy friend Paulette is getting married in two months + I can’t help but share all the bridal activities we’ve had leading up to it.
A little backstory: I met Paulette as a Sophomore at UF and we’ve been fast friends ever since.
Add in the mix that I met her future husband Chris that same year, and I’ve been 3rd wheeling ever since. Not an annoying 3rd wheel, but a cool 3rd wheel. Look how young we are!
The first step of the wedding festivities included a bachelorette cruise with her girls to the Bahamas. It. was. amazing. Perfect weather, sunbathing, and dancing – just a few of our favorite things. Oh, and pineapple drinks – my absolute favorite!
This was my first cruise and it was quite an adventure. I found the cutest nautical themed bags and cups from MudPie along with other fun goodies. “Beachin’ Babes + Beachin’ Bride” as well as “Lucky in Love + Just Lucky” shirts courtesy of my friend Britt.
A few weeks later we celebrated Paulettey again with her bridal shower. It was the perfect mix of florals + rose + golds. We had the best time celebrating our bride – filled with yummy food, games and lots of laughs.
Mom and I couldn’t help but shower the happy couple with a lemon-themed gift complete with all sorts of kitchen goodies, sugared-lemon peels and of course, limoncello. The gift was inspired by Paulette + Chris’ upcoming honeymoon.
Can’t wait to celebrate the main event: wedding!
