Weekend Rewind: Nov. 29 2019

It’s been a while since I’ve had time to really sit down and share what our weekends have looked like. I always have the best intention of sharing and then Sunday night hits with all the little things I neglected over the weekend. But since this weekend was just a dream, I felt like I had to share our most recent adventure!

Our family loves to take road trips all over the state – it’s the perfect way to explore something new without feeling totally drained. On Friday, we traveled over to Tampa for an engagement celebration and ended up reuniting with old friends along the way.

Our first stop was a reunion with the other Lowe Bro, Marky Mark. I mean look at these two – I just adore them.

Mark has a special place in our hearts – he’s always the first one to check in, cheer us on and bring lots of laughs! So happy we were all able to get in some hugs this trip!

Next up, we celebrated the sweetest couple and their engagement. I loved capturing this picture of Madi (the bride) with her grandparents. So, so happy for her engagement + upcoming wedding. She’s going to be a stunning bride!

The engagement party was at a rooftop near Armature Works. Oh, how I wish Fort Pierce had something like this – imagine a renovated industrial building with vendors at each turn. Mom was in her element when she found a ramen stand.

And then I was in my element when I found a #basic photo stand. I mean, how could we resist!

We ended the weekend with brunch + shopping at Hyde Park Village with my lovely Lis. She’s another one of those lifelong friends, and she’s certainly left a mark on the Lowe Family!

First up was brunch at Goody Goody – I couldn’t resist trying one of their famous burgers (10/10 recommended) and Dad couldn’t resist trying their Butterscotch Pie. Dad claims he hasn’t been able to find one that’s as good as his grandmother’s, but said this one came pretty darn close.

After brunch came shopping for #SmallBusinessSaturday. If you’re ever looking for a place to relax, shop and smile – I definitely recommend coming to Hyde Park. We had the best time shopping, catching up + smelling the roses!

Once we said our goodbyes to Tampa, it was back home for the UF vs. FSU game. Love our annual tradition of watching the game together. Here’s a snap of us girls celebrating the game:

What a weekend. What a month. Does anyone else feel like November just flew by? I swear, we just finished Halloween and then Thanksgiving was here before I blinked.

And now we’re into the month of December – phew! I’m all smiles thinking about how this weekend started December off with love + laughs – can’t wait to see what else comes our way.
