The last month of summer has come and gone! It was such a great month too – we traveled, ate lots of food, dressed up for book club + had lots of laughs. We also got to check off the last few things from our bucket list. Here’s a look:
Tampa Trip
Absolutely loved getting to visit our Tampa friends! A trip to a garden nursery was a must. And bonus – G showed me around some of his favorites when he lived there.

Downtown Walks
Absolutely loved getting to walk around downtown this month. We made multiple trips to Old Florida Coffee Co. for their iced Chai Tea lattes (must for summer) and crepes!
Captain Hiram’s Trip
We hopped on a boat with friends + made it a weekend getaway! It was complete with lots of food, water and laughs. Oh and of course, we took lots of photos. How gorgeous are those seashell earrings?! As soon as I saw them at a local boutique, Jojo & Co, I had to pick up a few for myself and friends.
Open Mic Night
When our friends Ihla + Ian mentioned last experience going to Open Mic Night at Kilted Mermaid, we knew there needed to be a repeat! We started the night at Southern Social in Vero Beach. The food and drinks were amazing. Then we headed over to Kilted Mermaid for dessert… the salted caramel fondue did not disappoint! And neither did the talent!
Cocoa Beach
We ended July with a trip to Cocoa Beach with our friends Cassea and John. There was lots of puppy snuggles, fried fish, monopoly + plenty of beach time. On a side note, there were no ill feelings after our monopoly game this time! If you know, you know…
It was the best trip and a repeat from last year.
And that’s about it! The best way to end summer before I’m back at school!
